How to create a screenshot?

Sometimes a picture says more than 1000 words. For special problems, our support team sometimes asks you to send a screenshot. Here we have a brief guide on how to proceed.

Android

On Android, creating a screenshot is not uniform on all devices. On a lot of devices you have to hold down the "Silent"-button and the "On/Off"-button at the same time for 1-2 seconds. With other devices you have to hold down both the„Home“-button and the "On/Off"-button for 1-2 seconds.
The screen will flash and the whole screen will then be saved as a picture to the photo and album Gallery app.

iOS

To do a screenshot with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch please hold the "Standby"-button and right after press the" Home"-Button really quick. The screen will flash and the whole screen will be saved as a picture in your "photo" app.

Windows

To take a picture of the entire screen, press the "Print" button; on the top right of your keyboard. Now your whole screen will be captured by Windows and saved to your clipboard.
If you only want to copy the current window, hold down the "Alt"-button and press "print". This will only capture the current window and copy it to the clipboard.
To paste the image somewhere, hold down the "Strg"-key and press "V". Now your last saved picture in the clipboard will be inserted into your currently opened image or document

Windows Phone

To create a screenshot, press the On/Off button at the same time as the louder key. If this does not work, try the On/Off button together with the Silent button.
The screenshot is stored in photos in the screenshot album.

Mac

To take a picture of your whole screen press the keys "⌘command" and ⇧ at the same time; and press "ß3". The entire screen is captured and saved as a file on the desktop. The name of the file is as followed: "Screenshot 2017-01-01 at 12.15.00.png"
If you just want to copy the current window, hold down the "⌘command" and ⇧ And press "$4". The, press space and click on the window you want to capture, or use the mouse to drag the rectangle around the area to be captured. This will be saved as a file in the above-mentioned form on the desktop.
To save your screenshot in your clipboard and not as a file, press in addition to the key combination mentioned above the keys "control"
To paste the copy from the clipboard into your currently open document, hold down "⌘command" and press "V"
