"I wanted a solution that is flexible, easy to use, and above all, free of charge. The evaluations are meaningful and make it easier for the doctor to get an overview," explains Horst Klier the reason for his software development.

Interested parties can now register for free on the website www.BloodPressureDB.com  to monitor their blood pressure. Personal data is not collected for data protection reasons. A self-defined username and an email address are sufficient for registration. After logging in, the data is recorded minute by minute and can be queried in the form of charts or statistics. The systolic (upper) and diastolic (lower) blood pressure values, pulse, and a comment are recorded. Upon request, a detailed evaluation is sent as a PDF, which the user can present to their attending physician. It is even possible to import values that have been recorded in spreadsheets to date.
