Health app
Easily track and review your blood pressure wherever you areThe site "mailto:info@itpressearbeit.de.de" offers a solution for everyone with high blood pressure: on the web or as an app, anyone can now enter and analyze their own data anytime, free of charge and with great convenience. Home blood pressure monitors do give quick readings anywhere, but documenting and analyzing them on paper or in a spreadsheet has been tedious until now.
According to the "Green Cross", around 12 million people in Germany are affected by high blood pressure. In addition to sleep disturbances and breathing problems, heart attack and stroke are feared consequences and are among the most common causes of death. That's why it's essential for this patient group to continuously monitor and analyze their {-%-2/%/}.
Horst Klier, operator of the website "{-%-3/%/}.de", still regularly measures his blood pressure as a former patient himself. Since evaluating the readings on paper or even in a spreadsheet still seemed too inconvenient to him, he took matters into his own hands and developed software to record and analyze blood pressure readings. Via a web browser or as an app on mobile devices like Android smartphones or the iPhone, the data can not only be recorded but also analyzed right away. "I wanted a solution that is flexible, easy to use and, above all, free. The analyses are meaningful and make the doctor's work much easier," explains Horst Klier.
Anyone interested can register completely free at www.{-%-4/%/}.de. For privacy reasons, no personal data is collected. A username of your choice and an e-mail address are enough to sign up. After logging in, data can be recorded with minute accuracy at any time and viewed as charts or statistics. The recorded values are systolic and diastolic blood pressure, pulse and a comment. On request, you can receive a detailed analysis as a PDF to give to your treating physician. It's even possible to import values previously recorded in spreadsheets.
The portal also offers interested users lots of useful information about "high blood pressure".
