Always trouble with blood pressure. Those with high blood pressure not only have to take medication but also constantly check if it might be rising further. The problem: High blood pressure often goes unnoticed. However, it can damage the heart and internal organs.
The free app Blood Pressure Data by Horst Klier is available on iPhone and Android smartphones to log the measured values. The app records systolic and diastolic blood pressure along with the current pulse. The data is timestamped upon entry.
The app gladly analyzes the numbers and generates a colorful line chart. This displays the measurements over a freely selectable period. The data and the chart can also be exported as a PDF for printing and showing to the doctor, who then has all the numbers needed for further treatment.
After a short registration in the system, all data is centrally managed and can be accessed not only in the web browser but also in all apps thanks to automatic synchronization. The system also records additional vital values, including the user's weight, blood sugar level, body temperature, and fluid balance (especially for chronic kidney patients, for example, after a transplant).
