How does the Infomail work?

Our Infomail provides health expertise on the topic of high blood pressure. We regularly send emails with important or exciting information. All content is thoroughly researched and tailored to the target audience.

You will receive the Infomail when you register as a BloodPressureDB user. The Infomail is separate from the user account. As you may know, we also allow multiple user accounts to be created with the same email address. However, it would be silly to send the same email multiple times. Therefore, the Infomail is connected to the registered email address but not directly assigned to a user account.

You can therefore unsubscribe from the Infomail without it affecting your user account. Likewise, it is possible to delete the user account and still receive the Infomail.

The Infomail is part of the paid version of BloodPressureDB. Users of a free version or without registration will receive a shortened version. However, the first emails are always unabridged.

In the app (from version 7.1.7), there is a menu item "Infomail". There you can view all previously received Infomails. Premium version users can also initiate a resend via email and thus receive the Infomail again. So if you use the app for free and later decide to opt for the paid version, you will have direct access to all Infomails in full text that you have received under your email address so far.
